FAQ: ENMET's EGC (Environmental Gas Chromatograph) System
The ENMET eGC is a cost-effective solution for detecting benzene at trace levels (sub ppb) in both fenceline and workplace environments, offering specific gas analysis capabilities in complex mixtures. This autonomous field instrument operates using solar power, providing mobility and convenience for deployment to remote or emission-prone areas. Additionally, ENMET provides expert technical assistance, including problem assessment, product selection, system installation, and training, for applications focused on air quality and environmental emissions in oil refinery and petrochemical industries.
How do I download a chromatogram plot?
You can download a chromatogram by hovering your mouse pointer near the top of a selected bar graph until a hand icon appears, then select. A new browser page will appear with the selected chromatogram.
What information is displayed in a chromatogram plot?
The general layout of a chromatogram plot includes:
- Run count: The analysis file reference displayed
- Y-axis: Signal or counts reported
- X-axis: Time of the analysis in seconds reported
- Data box: Relevant analysis information displayed to the right-hand side of the chromatogram
How can I adjust the plot?
You can adjust the plot by using the zoom function for the X-axis underneath the chromatogram. You can also use the icons located on the top right-hand side to replot the chromatogram.
Can I bookmark a chromatogram plot for later reference?
Yes, you can bookmark a chromatogram plot by dragging the slider graphic with your mouse pointer and adjusting the plot to the desired location. To return the plot to its original format, select the home icon above the chromatogram.
How do I print or save a chromatogram plot?
You can print a chromatogram using the browser print function. You can also save it as a PDF file to a designated directory for report inclusion at a later time.
What is the Tables page and how does it work?
The Tables page is a detailed breakdown of all EGC information collected in a database format, which is exportable via a CSV file to a spreadsheet application. The page displays ENMET serial number and user ID for reference inside of the top ribbon. All data on this page corresponds to the selected EGC.
How do I sort the data table?
You can sort the data table based on type of data and time interval using the three sorting functions: all data, only measurements, and only calibration. The current selected data type will appear as a bold font.
Can I export the data table?
Yes, you can export the data table using the two function boxes that support EGC data export: Download Selected and Download All. Both options are governed by the time interval selected in the calendar.
How do I access the API docs for outside software integration?
You can access the API docs to collect data for use in other software by selecting the API docs function, which will open the web server swagger page.
